Donations and Giving

CD-MAC is a federally chartered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations to CD-MAC are fully tax deductible under Internal Service Regulations.

CD-MAC is headquartered in Centerville, Massachusetts. The Massachusetts office supports CD-MAC's operations in the communities south of Boston and on Cape Cod. The Housing Trust Fund is also administered from the home office.

CD-MAC seeks to form local chapters in the communities in which it works. Currently CD-MAC is creating local chapters in several South Florida communities to address the housing crisis in these communities. A local board of directors is created for each of the local chapters, and the local organization is empowered to carry out CD-MAC's mission locally.

CD-MAC housing programs and operations are funded are through a combination of grants, donations, and earned income strategies.

Transactions may be structured with CD-MAC where a land owner can minimize the tax consequences of a property sale through a combination of sale proceeds and charitable donation tax benefits. As each situation is unique, please contact CD-MAC at (508) 771-3838 or info@CD-MAC.org to discuss how a transaction might be structured with your specific goals in mind.

Memberships

Individuals and families may become a member of CD-MAC by paying a nominal annual membership fee (currently $15 per year). As a member of CD-MAC, individuals and families become eligible to participate in the organization's housing assistance programs and are automatically placed on the waiting list for downpayment assistance.
